13th Embedded Talk on Wireless Communication and Sensors for Industry 4.0
On May 16th the ESI (Embedded Systems Initiative)-Application Center organized an event on the topic of Industry 4.0. Wireless communication and sensor technologies for industry 4.0 applications were one of the focus subjects. Various project teams from Fraunhofer IIS and FAU, including the Chair of Industrial Management, were able to present their research findings to a broad audience.
Interesting impulse lectures by company representatives gave an ideal starting point for this event. Prof. Voigt led the exciting panel discussion with representatives from science and industry on the topic “Challenges of Industry 4.0”. Live demonstrations, professionally supported by Marc Rücker, at the L.I.N.K. Test & Application Center completed the very successful event.
