Last week, the new semester started at Friedrich-Alexander University. Several students got the opportunity to be part of the seminar on strategic innovation management at the chair of Industrial Management in cooperation with DATEV. In this context, DATEV-CEO Dr. Robert Mayr warmly welcomed our students at the DATEV Lab where they participated a Design Thinking workshop. During that week, the students have gotten different insights into challenges of DATEV and how they can be adressed through the targeted use of artificial intelligence and blockchain. On monday, after an instructive week, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Dr. Robert Mayr and Daniela Hecht (Head of DATEV Lab), the students presented their results on how the blockchain technology in connection with artificial intelligence can influence the economy and the DATEV. Prof. Dr. Voigt wants to thank Dr. Mayr and his entire team for this great opportunity. We are looking forward to the ceremonial opening of the DATEV Lab on 24th october.
