As part of the latest edition of the seminar “Strategies of Technology-Oriented Industrial Firms” selected students had the chance to discuss their research findings with Dr. Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG, and Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt.
During the final session on January 26th, three student teams presented their work on key innovation fields shaping the future of industrial robotics. Their analyses covered topics ranging from advanced robotic hardware and mechanical systems to perception and intelligence as well as control and human–robot interaction.
Tackling such a multifaceted topic within one semester is no easy task, yet the students delivered thoughtful perspectives and well-founded insights. We sincerely thank Dr. Roland Busch for his continued commitment to engaging with our students at FAU WiSo and look forward to continuing this successful collaboration in the upcoming seminar.
