For the eighth time already, our seminar “AI & Data in Business and Management” took place during the summer semester. Co-led by Dr. Lydia Mammen, Vice President of Digital Analytics at adidas AG, and Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, the seminar addresses timely and forward-looking topics at the intersection of AI, business, and technology.
This semester, students focused on the rapidly evolving field of agentic AI – intelligent systems that act autonomously on behalf of users. Their final presentations explored:
- UX principles for designing agentic AI systems
- Shopping behavior in the age of AI-powered assistants
- The impact of agentic AI on SEO and digital marketing
The student teams impressed us with their thoughtful analyses, creative perspectives, and insightful discussions on the implications of AI for consumers, business models, and digital strategy.
