Local Heroes 2024: Final Student Presentations
Meet our Local Heroes! For the sixth time in a row, the Chair of Industrial Management hosted the “Businessplanseminar – Local Heroes Edition” which provides 12 bachelor and master students with the invaluable opportunity to tackle real business challenges posed by three local start-ups. Collaborating with three business partners, namely AMPERIAL (specializing in smart window foils made of a nano material PCB Arts (modular hardware for edge AI), and TEDxNuremberg (self-organized TED event), students delved into various challenges within the realms of marketing and sales.
On January 18th, the culmination of months of dedicated work was showcased as the three student groups presented their innovative solutions to Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Lauren Anne Mackintosh and the business partners. The audience was captivated by the students’ ability to provide creative and unique answers to intricate business questions, a testament to their teamwork and collaborative efforts with the business partners.
A heartfelt appreciation goes out to our partners at AMPERIAL (Matthias Trost), PCB Arts (Philipp Jöhl), and TEDxNuremberg (Jaqueline Hartmann, Tobias Vogel) for their invaluable contributions to this seminar. We extend our best wishes to them and wish them all the best for the next steps with their businesses!
