Despite the current pandemic, the Chair of Industrial Management was able to offer the seminar on Strategic Innovation Management for 12 students in cooperation with DATEV. In contrast to previous seminars, the kick-off and final presentations took place virtually.

On November 12th 2020, Dr. Robert Mayr (CEO of DATEV eG) and his team, kicked off the seminar by providing the topic: Sustainability @DATEV. In this context, three groups of students had time to examine the topic of sustainability in relation to “New Work“, “Europa“ and “Klimaneutralität 2030“. In this regard, the students received keynote speeches and contact persons from the various business areas of DATEV.

On January 26th 2021, after two months of intensive work, the students were finally happy to present their results in the presence of Dr. Mayr, Prof. Voigt and employees from DATEV and the Chair of Industrial Management. All groups presented exciting use cases and showed how DATEV can offer sustainble solutions at various levels.

Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Oscar Pakos and Lars Friedrich want to thank Dr. Mayr, Dr. Söllner and Nicole Hess as well as all students for the great collaboration. We are already looking forward to the next seminar in summer semester 2021.
