We just received the great news that the BMBF-funded Project BIOTEXFUTURE will be continued for another year until end of 2025. The vision of BIOTEXFUTURE is to transform the entire textile value chain from petroleum-based to bio-based. Within the innovation space, the role of the Chair of Industrial Management at FAU is to examine consumer perceptions of bio-based products and to develop strategies to make these products attractive to the mass-market. Within the next two years, the research team consisting of Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Hannah Altenburg and Lauren Anne Mackintosh will dive deeper into consumer associations towards bio-based products and will develop concrete solutions to the so-called “attitude-behavior gap” that can be seen for sustainable products.

We are happy to continue this fantastic research project and the collaboration with the project partners RWTH Aachen, University of Bayreuth, University of Duisburg-Essen, LMU München and adidas.
