On 13th of May 2022 the Master Thesis from Christoph Kern – which was supervised by Prof. Kai-Ingo Voigt and Dr. Lukas Maier – with the title “Smart City – Opportunity or Challenge for the Automotive Industry?” was rewarded with the SEW-EURODRIVE Master-Award as the best student thesis in Management and Engineering. The award was handed over at a festive ceremony in Bruchsal, Germany.

Annually the SEW-EURODRIVE rewards the most outstanding and innovative student thesis. Students from universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland were able to submit their theses via their professors. Awards are given to the student theses in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and economics.

Prof. Voigt and his whole Chair are proud of this achievement and look forward to further future research success!
