On the 5th May 2020, the International Project Seminar, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt and together with Dr. Christian Baccarella, Daliborka Witschel and Lukas Maier, was successfully and digitally completed via Zoom.

The international student team, consisting of three FAU students and three Boston College students, presented their remarkable results of the project “Digital Competencies” to the Diehl representatives Dr. Andreas Volek (Head of Innovation Management) and Laura Hautman (Head of Corporate Talent Acquisition & Attraction. Using survey data from Germany and the US, the students developed a digital competencies scale for Diehl.

We cordially thank our long-standing partner Diehl for their ongoing support and Ms. Marilyn Eckelman (Associate Dean of CGSOM Graduate Programs Boston College) and Prof. John Beebe (Professor in Operations Management) for being our academic sparring partner!

And again, congratulations to the Boston College students and our FAU students for their great team effort and their impressive results – you have literally proven your digital competencies!
