At the beginning of the winter semester the Chair of Industrial Management launched a call: CALLING ALL CREATORS – Invitation to our new Creative Case Study together with adidas. In this context, 100 students in the course Organizational Creativity and in cooperation with adidas were given the opportunity to “create the retail experience of the future”. Using Design Thinking and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kai- Ingo Voigt, Dr. Tobias Eismann and Oscar Pakos, the students went through three phases: Needfinding, Ideation and Experimentation.

In the first phase customer problems were identified. Then, in the second phase, many ideas were generated to address these problems. In the third phase, students were asked to decide on an idea and develop it further. Finally, on February 5th, all results were submitted and presented in the form of an elaborated concept and a video pitch. Prof. Voigt and his team thank the students for their hard work and the effort and passion that went into the concepts. Thanks also to adidas who made it possible for the students to work on a practical topic. Examples of the video pitches can be found below. A blog post about the course by students can be found here.

We are already looking forward to the next course in the winter semester 2020/2021.
