Innovation Insights Series #7 with Prof. Dr. Tim Hosenfeldt, Senior Vice President Corporate Research and Innovation & Central Technology, Schaeffler
On July 6th, Prof. Voigt proudly hosted Prof. Dr. Tim Hosenfeldt, Senior Vice President Corporate Research and Innovation & Central Technology at Schaeffler AG for the seventh guest lecture of our Innovation Insights Series.
In his talk on technology and innovation management at Schaeffler, Prof. Hosenfeldt provided the audience with first hand information on Schaeffler’s innovation process. He elaborated on strategic innovation clusters like bearings or materials and surface technologies, going further into detail on the importance of creativity in the process. He also spoke about the critical role of collaborations, using the example of Innoplate, a joint venture founded with the goal to create a European ecosystem for hydrogen technologies.
