Pioneering student teams of the Seminar “AI & Data in Business and Management” with Dr. Lydia Mammen (adidas AG) present their results

For the first time, three pioneering student teams presented and discussed their results as part of the seminar “AI & Data in Business and Management” that is held in collaboration with Dr. Lydia Mammen (Vice President Data Analytics, adidas AG). Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Dr. Lukas Maier and Dr. Christian Baccarella had the pleasure to learn more about, for example, leadership in the age of AI or about factors that influence the acceptance of AI in organizations. All of the presentation sparked intense discussions about the current and future role of AI in management. Thereby, Dr. Lydia Mammen enriched the discussions with interesting insights from adidas, giving the students the opportunity to get first-hand experiences of how AI is currently used in practice in a worldwide renowned company.

The whole team thanks the students and Dr. Lydia Mammen for their contributions to this seminar! The seminar will be back next semester with new and exciting topics in the context of AI.
