On November 23rd, Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt and Hannah Altenburg had the chance to discuss the importance of sustainable innovation and consumer behavior in the fully packed “Alte Bibliothek” at Ansbach Castle, highlighting how companies and society can shift consumer behavior towards environmental friendliness. Further, they presented the research project, BIOTEXFUTURE TransitionLab3, they conduct together with Lauren Anne Mackintosh, where they analyzed consumer associations towards algae-based textiles and developed product designs to increase the acceptance of such products. After their presentation, there was a lively discussion with the highly interested and curious audience.

We warmly thank the organizers of this event for welcoming us and hosting the Universitätstage in their beautiful castle as well as Dr. Siegfried Balleis for guiding trough the evening! Keep your eyes peeled for next week’s presentation in the program with Prof. Dr. Markus Beckmann!
