On September 6th, Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt had the honor and pleasure to attend the festive Unipreneurs Award Ceremony at the Allianz Forum in Berlin under the patronage of Germany’s Federal Minister of Education and Research, Bettina Stark-Watzinger. 20 Professors from different German universities have been awarded for their outstanding engagement in encouraging and supporting student and academic entrepreneurs, among them Prof. Dr. Björn Eskofier from FAU! Congrats, Björn! Prof. Voigt took the chance to talk with Matthias Hilpert, founder and initiator of the Unipreneurs Award, as well as Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Ph.D. (Max-Planck-Institute and Keynote Speaker of this event) and the award winning colleagues Prof. Dr. Helmut Schönenberger (TUM) and Prof. Dr. Stephan Stubner (HHL). With initiatives like Zollhof and Joseph‘s in Nuremberg, FAU is ranking among Germany‘s top universities in fostering start-ups from students and scientists! That’s FAUntastic!
