As part of HORIZON 2020, an EU research and innovation initiative to secure Europe’s global competitiveness, our project “Building Scientific Capacity through Knowledge transfer, Exchange of Hands-on Practices, Linked Academic Research and Networking (SCHOLARNET)” has the goal to contribute to strengthening the research excellence of Sofia University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) in the area of economic and management research by creating a scientific link with research intensive European universities. Within our project in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria) and Universite de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France) we aim to bridge the gap between different level of research capacity among ‘innovation leaders’ and ‘modest innovators’ and to strengthen the research convergence. The collaboration will last for two years and includes various events and measures to adapt research excellence. We look forward to a successful collaboration.
