The triad crowd – innovation – corporation characterizes the Corporate Crowdfunding Day. This event aims to provide an understanding for the implementation of the crowdfunding concept inside the innovation management of enterprises. Corporate crowdfunding is a new crowd-based concept in the field of collective intelligence. It enables the generation, collection, evaluation, and selection of ideas from and with employees or customers. Hereby, employees or customers get the chance to actively participate in the idea management process by proposing own ideas and promoting others´ ideas. Collaboration, creativity and transparency are key elements for the successful implementation of corporate crowdfunding. The Corporate Crowdfunding Day will analyze success factors, challenges and potentials of this new concept. Thereby, we generate benefit for research and practice in this field.
