On May 21st, we had once again the pleasure of welcoming Bruno Götz, Head of Patents at BayernInnovativ, for an interesting guest lecture on intellectual property rights in our Innovation module.
Patents and IP are a central element in innovation management and can even serve as strategic management tools. In his speech, Bruno captured our students with a humorous and interesting lecture on the different types of IP rights, what is patentable (and what is not), and how to use patents strategically. Moreover, he demonstrated why patents play a central role in the development of innovations using lively examples (like an ice tray for beer crates 😉).
