A great start to our seminar “AI and Data in Business and Management” with Dr. Lydia Mammen, VP Digital Analytics at adidas!

Today, on April 27, 2026, Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt kicked off the seminar together with Dr. Lydia Mammen. For the tenth time, this seminar brings together academic perspectives and hands-on business expertise to explore one of the most dynamic fields in business and management today: AI, data, and the rise of agentic AI.

With twelve students, the seminar starts by examining how organizations can unlock the potential of AI while addressing the crucial “last mile” of implementation: human acceptance, trust, usability, and adoption.

Under the supervision of the Chair of Industrial Management team, our students are ready to develop thoughtful analyses and inspiring presentations over the course of the summer semester. Here’s to a semester full of curiosity, critical thinking, and new perspectives on the future of AI in business!
