From 19th to 22nd November, Prof. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Prof. Julian Müller and Viktoria Leutheuser participated in the 6th edition of the Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing (ISM) conference in Prague and presented three papers on their current research on the Industrial Metaverse, the Adoption Process for Sustainability Platforms and Smart Manufacturing Sustainability Potentials for SMEs.

In exciting sessions, the use of emerging technologies in smart manufacturing environments and the human factor in operational decisions were discussed from different perspectives. In addition, the associated International Doctoral Workshop provided the opportunity to critically reflect on one’s research and identify new impulses for future approaches. The conference was characterized by an outstanding community in which one was welcomed with open arms and we are looking forward to meet them next year in Malta at ISM 2025!

We are very grateful to be part of this inspiring conference and are also delighted that our presented research will be published in the subsequent conference proceedings (Procedia Computer Science) in the upcoming months. Stay tuned!
