In this semester, the participants of the “5-Euro Business” contest had the opportunity to found their own start-up. The catch: Their business idea had to be fundable with a starting capital of only 5€!  Prof. Voigt and the entire jury evaluated the creative and innovative business ideas, the corresponding business reports, suitable marketing strategies and convincing team presentations in a final event that took place on February 2nd in the Marmorsaal of the Presseclub Nuremberg. Prof. Voigt and Lars Friedrich supervised and co-directed the final ceremony.

The five student groups convinced with great ideas that sold very well: The Kraftlebkuchen team invented a recipe for a protein gingerbread. BREADbyYOU sells organic ingredients so that everyone can bake their own bread. 3rd Life gives clothes a third chance by offering kits with which anyone can sew their own shoulder bag. Crowd collection makes university merchandise contemporary and suitable for everyday use. ReThing developed a biodegradable Christmas ball, which is produced with a 3D printer.

And the winner in 2023 is … ReThing!

The Chair of Industrial Management congratulates all participating teams on their outstanding performance and wishes them all the best for the future!
