On December 1st, the Chair of Industrial Management welcomed Dr. Daniel Sekula and Philipp Steiner from the CityHunters in Nuremberg. CityHunters is a provider of team events, excursions and team strengthening events. Philipp and Daniel got to know each other during their studies and founded their company during their time at the Friedrich-Alexander University in 2009. In their 90-minute keynote they gave the approximately 80 students insights into their personal founding history. They talked about challenges and milestones in 13 years of entrepreneurship. In particular, they highlighted that the pandemic was challenging their company and business model. With the help of targeted decisions and process innovations, they were able to lead and successfully scale CityHunters through the pandemic. Finally, the students received valuable start-up tips and were able to ask Philipp and Daniel personal questions.

Prof. Kai-Ingo Voigt would like to thank Philipp and Daniel for the valuable keynote and for sharing their personal experiences with us. We wish the CityHunters maximum success and see you soon!
