After its Corona-induced pause, the NUElecture series was ready to resume with Prof. Voigt as kick-off speaker on October 18. This public lecture series, as introduced by the WiSo, offers a platform for science to actively communicate into the urban society – with WiSo scholars presenting innovative research in an understandable and exciting way at different locations in the city of Nuremberg.

Prof. Voigt kicked off this year’s NUElecture series at the new Zukunftsmuseum with an engaging speech on Digital Industrial Platforms and their potential role as turning point in industrial value creation. Together with the intrigued plenum, he discussed the current and future role of platforms for industrial value creation and theorized on their long-term viability and development paths, providing the audience with plenty thought-provoking impulses.

Prof. Voigt and the entire Chair of Industrial Management are happy to look back on this successful evening. Therefore, we would like to express a big “Thank you” to all organizers and the interested audience! We are already looking forward to the continuation of the NUElecture series!
