At the prestigious Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM), held from August 5th to 9th 2022 in Seattle, the Chair of Industrial Management presented two research papers.

The first paper entitled “How to Increase Consumer Donation Behavior? A Systematic Literature Review and Comprehensive Framework” was presented by Lukas Maier on behalf of the entire team of authors including Lars Friedrich and Kai-Ingo Voigt. The paper provides an overview of current empirical research in the field of individual donations and provides several avenues for future research.

The second paper is entitled “You Must Be Joking! How Humor in Business Pitches Influences Young Ventures’ Pitching Success” and was presented by Christian Baccarella on behalf of the co-authors Lukas Maier and Kai-Ingo Voigt. This research examines how the use of humor in entrepreneurial pitches influences funding outcomes.

We are happy to be part of the AOM community and are looking forward to the AOM Annual Meeting 2023 in Boston!
