Innovation Insights Series #5 with Dr. Lydia Mammen, adidas AG
In the fifth session of our Innovation Insights Series of this summer term, we had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Lydia Mammen, Vice President Data Analytics @ adidas, to her alma mater to discuss how adidas drives digital business growth through data and artificial intelligence.
In her presentation, she gave fascinating insights how adidas is transforming the digital shopping experience and how data and AI can support them in doing so. To illustrate how this actually works in practice, Lydia elaborated on different projects they had been working on, such as a recommendation engine or the forecasting process for different product demands such as for the recent collaboration between adidas and Gucci.
