Digitalization of the customer-supplier relationship: Students discuss their insights from different industries with Klaus Helmrich, former CEO of SIEMENS Digital Industries
On February 4th 2022, Prof. Voigt for the first time proudly hosted the final event of the seminar “Digitalization of the industrial value chain” together with Klaus Helmrich, now supervisory board chairman of the GEA Group AG. Mr. Helmrich joined the group of visiting lecturers as an industry experts at the beginning of the winter term. During the semester three student teams worked on the topics of digitalization of the customer-supplier relationship in the automotive, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering industry. In the final event, they presented their results to the team of the Chair of Industrial Management and Klaus Helmrich and vividly discussed their insights and ideas in plenary.
Prof. Voigt, Fabian Brechtel and Lars Friedrich would like to thank Klaus Helmrich for his dedication and all student teams for their great presentations. We are looking forward to welcoming Mr. Helmrich again in the upcoming summer term 2022.
