For the second semester in a row, Dr. Roland Busch, CEO and President of Siemens AG, hosted the final lecture of our seminar “Strategies of Technology-Oriented Industrial Companies”.

In the seminar, co-chaired by Prof. Kai-Ingo Voigt and Marc Rücker, three student teams analyzed digital business and revenue models and presented their results in a digital session to Dr. Busch and the Chair of Industrial Management. The students evaluated the three revenue models software-as-a-service, performance-based charging and pay-per-part and assessed their integrability into the business model of Siemens. Dr. Busch discussed the research findings extensively with the students afterwards. After the exciting presentations and discussions, Dr. Busch was available for a Q&A session, where he answered the students’ questions about his role as CEO in a profound and sympathetic manner.

We would like to thank Dr. Busch and his team again for the great cooperation during this seminar. We are looking forward to the next seminar in the winter term 2021/22!
