In vino veritas – Practical Seminar at Local Franconian Winery
On September 24th, the chair team and Prof. Voigt attended an informative tour through the beautiful Franconian vineyards in Iphofen.
Under the highly professional guidance of two wine experts, the team took a walk through the vineyards and received highly relevant information on the economic situation of the wine industry and wine growing in Franconia. As the wine industry represents a valuable sector of the German economy, we appreciated the insights into the craft of wine cultivation and production as well as first-hand information on current trends in wine growing and production. This fact is particularly interesting as many wineries have initiated a generational change.
