We are proud to announce that our article “The role of absorptive capacity and innovation strategy in the design of Industry 4.0 Business Models – A comparison between SMEs and large enterprises” has been published in European Management Journal (VHB B-Ranking, Impact Factor 2,985). The article authored by Prof. Dr. Julian Mülller, Dr. Oana Buliga, and Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt analyzes how absorptive capacity and innovation strategy influences the design of business models in Industry 4.0. Building on empirical data from 221 manufacturing enterprises, the article finds interesting differences between SMEs and large enterprises.
