Procurement @AUDI: Inspiring guest lecture at the Chair of Industrial Management
Today we had the privilege to welcome Mr. Dominique Nou and Mr. Daniel Wittmann from AUDI AG as guest speakers at our ” Beschaffungsmanagement” lecture. Both are already working for several years as project controllers in foreign procurement for AUDI and could give our students exciting insights into procurement and purchasing management in practice. In addition to the strategic importance of procurement in companies, the speakers also outlined the trends and challenges of procurement management at an international automotive manufacturer. They also critically discussed the tension between global sourcing and local supply, with which procurement managers have to deal, and were therefore able to give the students a good insight into their daily work. An exciting question and answer session with the students completed this highly informative guest lecture.
We would like to thank Mr. Nou and Mr. Wittmann for taking the road from Ingolstadt to our university and hope to welcome them again next year in our lecture!
