European Commission invites Professor Voigt to host an Industry 4.0-Session at the CONCORDi Conference 2019 in Seville
On September 26, Prof. Voigt was invited to chair an academic session on “Industry 4.0” at the 7. European Conference on Corporate R&D and Innovation CONCORDi, organized by the European Commission and OECD in beautiful Seville. Under the headline “Industrial Innovation for Transformation”, several high-ranked research papers on Deep Learning, Robotics and Digital Innovations have been presented and discussed. A special highlight of the conference: The fascinating keynote speech by AI-researcher Anita Schjøll Brede, CEO and Co-Founder of Iris.AI, an artificial intelligence company ranked among the 10 Most Innovative Companies in AI in 2017. Anita was named by Forbes as among the World’s Top 50 Women in Tech in 2018.
