A Culminating End of the Semester – Guest Lecture by Janina Kugel from Siemens AG
As our last guest speaker, Janina Kugel – Chief Human Resources Officer at Siemens AG – brought our Speaker Series on Digitalization to a crowning end. Her speech on “Digitalization and the future of work“ demonstrated how Siemens, especially from an HR point of view, tackles the digital transformation.
In doing so, she did not only provide deep insights into changes in the working environment and into Siemens’ transformation towards an ever more digitalized company, but also illustrated leadership in a digitalized world.
All in all, she convinced the curious audience that humans still play and always will play a crucial role in value creation.
We specially thank Janina Kugel for taking the time and being part of our speaker series, as well as for her openness in answering all our students’ questions in great detail. Prof. Voigt and his team from the Chair of Industrial Management look forward to welcoming her at the university again pretty soon.
