At the 24th International Symposium on Logistics in Würzburg, Marc Rücker presented the paper “Risks of Industry 4.0 for Logistics – a Systematic Literature Review”, containing the result of an interdisciplinary cooperation between Prof. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Prof. Evi Hartmann, Joahnnes Veile, Hendrik Brikel and Marc Rücker. The study deals with the risks of Industry 4.0 technologies and offers a holistic risk categorization. This risk categorization enables companies to better evaluate the challenges of Industry 4.0 and to eliminate errors in the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies at an early stage.

The results of the study were obtained within the framework of the Emerging Fiels Initiative “Sustainable Smart Industry” and contribute to a better understanding of the extent to which Industry 4.0 is a model of sustainable value creation.
