From May 28th – 31st, Lukas Maier represented the Chair of Industrial Management at the renown Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) Annual Conference in Vancouver, Canada. The AMS Conference is one of the best Marketing Conferences worldwide. Lukas presented the Chair’s paper “Do Fine Feathers Make Fine Birds? Examining the Influence of a Product’s Packaging Functionality on Consumer Behavior”, which was co-authored by Dr. Christian Baccarella, Anna-Laura Himmelreich, and Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt.

Many international marketing researchers followed our presentation interestedly and subsequently discussed fascinating aspects in plenary. We give sincere thanks to the organizing team of the conference and look forward to next year’s AMS conference in Florida!

Besides the conference, Lukas had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Vancouver with its outstanding combination of innovative architecture and wonderful nature.
