From April 15th to April 18th, the Chair of Industrial Management carried out the Business plan seminar for highly motivated bachelor students. Under the guidance of Prof. Voigt, Lukas Maier, and Dr. Martin Meinel, within one week, 20 students in four different teams developed innovative business models and created a business plan pitch for their idea. This year, the students pitched the following four creative business ideas:

1) Addvertise: Brings personalized ads on your screen when streaming soccer games

2) Gama: A digital platform where you can rent and lend suitcases

3) Ice Building: Teambuilding through making ice cream together

4) Snove: A digital platform where you can rent the newest sneakers

The final pitch presentations strongly convinced the jury consisting of Dr. Daniel Kiel (Schaeffler), Dr. Tanja Jovanovic (Bayern Innovativ), and Andreas Braun (Tech-Incubator Zollhof Nürnberg). Prof. Voigt and his Research and Teaching Associates were also impressed and appreciate the teams’ performance throughout the short week. Moreover, we thank our practice partners and coaches Ferdinand Pillenstein (Suppdiwupp) and Patrick Hümmer (venture capital expert) for their sparkling speeches and for sharing their experiences.
