On the 9th April 2019, the International Project Seminar, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt and together with Dr. Christian Baccarella and Lukas Maier, was successfully completed at beautiful Boston College. The international student team, consisting of three FAU students and three BC students, presented their remarkable results of the project “Point-of-Sales Data Driven Business Model” to the DATEV representatives Dr. Christian Horn (Senior Manager Corporate Strategy) and Mr. Walter Schuhbauer (Head of Market Research). The students developed a potential digital business model for DATEV that can be used to leverage collected point-of-sale data.

We cordially thank our long-standing partner DATEV for their ongoing support and Ms. Marilyn Eckelman (Associate Dean of CGSOM Graduate Programs Boston College) and Prof. John Beebe (Professor in Operations Management) for being our academic sparring partner!

And again, congratulations to the BC students and our FAU students for their great team effort and their impressive results!

After the presentation, we had the opportunity to visit the Havard campus including the famous Busch-Reisinger Museum.
