As a perfect finale of the year 2018, the Chair of Industrial Management had the pleasure to be represented several times at the last Doctoral Graduation Ceremony of our faculty in 2018. Professor Voigt and the entire team at the Chair of Industrial Management cordially congratulate Dr. Martin Meinel for the completion of his doctoral dissertation entitled “Creativity Matters – Understanding and Facilitating Creativity in People, Teams, and Organizations”. His work includes seven scientific articles that examine various fields of action for managers who aim to enhance their employees’ creativity. Through his work, Dr. Meinel contributed to both academic research and teaching creativity at our university. We are happy to announce that his outstanding performance was awarded the Herrmann-Gutmann-Foundation’s doctoral prize at the doctoral ceremony on 18 December 2018. Thanks for your work, Martin, and keep it up!

We are also very glad that Dr. Christian Baccarella was awarded the Herrmann-Gutmann-Foundation’s prize for outstanding scientific achievements for the paper “Takin’ Care of Business Models: The Impact of Business Model Evaluation on Front-End Success” published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management in 2018. This newly initiated prize rewards outstanding scientific achievements of up-and-coming researchers at the School of Business and Economics at FAU.
