On October 13th, Prof. Voigt and his research and teaching associates Martin Meinel and Tobias Eismann kicked off an international Design Thinking Course at Tongji University Shanghai, China. More than 80 participants from all over the world joined our course that includes a three-week journey into the basics of creativity and design thinking. We were impressed by the students’ enthusiasm towards creative thinking and gathered fascinating insights, especially regarding creativity through the lens of Chinese culture. We are very much looking forward to the creative ideas and final concepts that are generated by the teams throughout the next two weeks. We sincerely thank Prof. Dr. Zheng Han for his invitation to Tongji University and Maria Mair from Technical University of Munich (TUM) for her support in organizing this course.
