The Chair of Industrial Management presented their latest insights from corporate crowdfunding and problem framing research at the Open & User Innovation Conference (OUI) in New York City. From 6-8 of August, on behalf of the whole research team (Martin Meinel, Sebastian Fixson), Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Dr. Christian Baccarella, and Tobias Eismann joined captivating research discussions at the conference and an interesting keynote speaker series on different topics in the field of open innovation. The evenings still offered enough time to discover the beautiful and vibrant city of New York while having a stroll around the Central Park or gaining new creative inspiration at Guggenheim Museum or Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). Prof. Voigt and his team were very pleased about having the opportunity to present their latest research at one of the most renowned conferences in open innovation research. We are already looking forward to next year’s conference to be held at Utrecht University.
