Diversity Day 2018: chair members among the winners of the photo contest “Diversity: Call for Photos”
As part of this year’s photo competition of the Gender and Diversity Office for Diversity Day 2018, our chair team led by Martin Meinel, Tobias Eismann and Marc Rücker won one of the coveted prizes.
The aim of the competition was to express the personal perception of diversity at our university in a photo. Our contribution was a collage made up of selected student images that photographically recorded their approaches to create a prototype as part of the course Organizational Creativity. In addition, these single pictures formed the lettering “Diversity for Creativity @FAU”.
Through this artwork we want to underline that diversity is the origin of creative acting and creativity is the base of all previous and future inventions of our FAU. Furthermore, our chair supports all such activities of the FAU in the context of equal rights and tries to incorporate these values in our lectures.
