From 24th until 26th April, the Chair of Industrial Management participated in the 27th conference of the International Association for Management of Technology (IAMOT) in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Johannes Veile had the honor to present our latest research entitled “How to implement industry 4.0? An empirical analysis of lessons learned from best practices” (authored by Johannes Veile, Dr. Daniel Kiel, Dr. Julian Müller, and Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt) and “What drives industry 4.0 adoption? An examination of technological, organizational, and environmental determinants” (authored by Dr. Christian Arnold, Johannes Veile, and Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt). The audience followed our presentations vividly and valuably discussed several aspects with us in plenary. We express our cordial thanks to the organizers and appreciate the IAMOT community for encouraging us to conduct further research in this field.
