Annual academic conference of the Erich-Gutenberg-Arbeitsgemeinschaft (EGA)

On May 18th, the academic conference („Wissenschaftstagung 2017“) of the Erich-Gutenberg-Arbeitsgemeinschaft Köln e.V. took place at Universitätsclub Bonn. The topic of this year’s conference was „Towards agile innovation: A new paradigm for innovation management?“.

Initially, Prof. Voigt, president of the Erich-Gutenberg-Arbeitsgemeinschaft, welcomed the participants and integrated the topic in the field of innovation management. Afterwards, many junior and senior researchers who accepted the invitation of the EGA presented their latest research results on this exciting topic. The moderation of the presentations was taken care of EGA vice presidents Prof. Dr. Ulrike Settnik and Prof. Dr. Stefan Kayser. The chair of Industrial Management was represented with a paper investigating the effectiveness of Design Thinking as an agile innovation approach. The lively discussions among the researchers and the EGA members reflected the growing importance of agility for innovation management in general. Prof. Voigt and the EGA board sincerely thanks the participants for their active engagement.
