On May 16, Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt and Christian Arnold gave a talk about Industry 4.0 at the Siemens CFO Conference and elaborated on recent research results of the Chair of Industrial Management. Under the heading “Industry 4.0 – Concept and Implementation”, they presented exciting insights about necessary business model changes, the emergence of novel, innovative Industry 4.0-related business models and the relevance of Industry 4.0 for SMEs and associated challenges to an interested audience composed of Siemens top executives.
